Property in La Manga del Mar Menor
La Manga del Mar Menor itself is a
narrow strip of land between two seas, the Mediterranean & Mar Menor,
measuring upto 300m in breadth & 21km in length. With over 40km of sandy
beaches, La Manga itself is one of the most popular resorts for those
looking for all those little luxuries – a choice of two seas with
different temperatures, one with waves, the other calm most of the year
round. A casino, luxury hotels, the famous Tomas Maestre Marina. Just
before entering in to La Manga you can find the nature reserve and
national park of Calblanque, Monte de Ceniza and Pena de Aquila. This area
is in close proximity to the airport & Murcia central, as well as a short
distance form one of the oldest cities in Spain – Cartagena, a cultural &
historical reference point, a favourite for lovers of art & history. We

Cabo de Palos is a bay on the Mediterranean side of La Manga just before
you enter the strip itself. The village has been built on a volcanic
backbone of the Murcian coast where fishing has remained one of the
livelihoods of the area although it has been adapted sympathetically to
cater for modern living.
La Manga Club is only 15 minutes drive to Los Alcazares and Cartagena. It
is a purpose built complex for golfers and sport lovers alike. It is a
gated community but is open to the public who can use some of the
facilities therein including the numerous bars and restaurants and don’t
forget the superb Hyatt Hotel and casino. There is also the fairly recent
addition of Las Lomas Village with the ever popular spa.
